I only come here when someone else wants to go. I never enjoyed a meal, its been expensive and mediocre every time. I know many people who love this place.... maybe its me, or maybe I havent ordered the right thing. When someone asks if I like DOA, I always say "you know, its not that great" and they always come back with " well you ordered the wrong thing". It was great! Loved our waiter. The food was so amazing and flavorful. I had the Backyard Burger. It exploded in my mouth. Never tasted anything better than the candy bacon. They also make these incredible cheese filled tator tots. My husband had the shrimp and grits. I have never tried grits before. They were cheesy and rich. Loved them. Great food for a little hole in the wall watering hole. They had some very different menu items including f he Dead Elvis, Backyard Burger and Candy Bacon. They can still serve a good chicken and waffle. I went here with friends for my birthday and had a blast!
It was really good, but a friend of mine asked for the mozzarella tots and was given the sweet potato fries-although great, they weren't what he was wanting. Thanks for the grub! Elk was great.

We tried 3 different happy hour foods and all were amazing �. We then ordered the shrimp and grits OH MY I found a new favorite food. So delicious �. We also ordered the happy hour cake pop to go. I can't even explain how great that was. This was my 1st time here and I could not have enjoyed it more. Our waiter was the best!!!! We ordered everything he suggested and he was on the mark on all of it.

Been here a few times for breakfast. Always packed die to great reviews. Had dinner there for the first time. Every single order in our group was excellent. I had the Steak Medallion and I wiped my plate clean, even when I was getting full. It was just so good!! Great service, too! We'll be back!!
