Been going to “Dirty’s” since the late 80’s back when the cook was often an old woman with large Texas hair, cooking on the big greasy grills at the front. Always great burgers and onion rings. Not sure if there has been a change in the kitchen, but the burgers and tots seem better than before. The fried jalapeños were fantastic! So glad they are still open. More people need to visit this Austin institution!
We always sit at the counter and the cooks are so friendly. Great burger and fries. Been going with my husband for 35 years. He's been going longer than that.
