What a fun speakeasy, hidden under an old apartment building off Hollywood Blvd. I don't know if it's actually true Valentino used to drink here, but you'll never convince me otherwise. A good selection of scotches, sincere bartenders (Albert is a mensch), a rarity these days and a charming doorman (Ivan). I came to hear Springtime Carnivore's perform for an album release party and the sound was excellent. I don't know how much live music they present, but it is a wonderful place to HEAR live music.
