I called twice and ordered a special cake to to be picked up this past Thursday. I also asked if it could be cut in half and put in two boxes. I also asked if they had a specific kind of (I think it’s called springerle cookies which the person who answered the phone said oh yes we have everything. I live 30 miles away from Dinkels and made the trip. I was treated really poorly by Desiree. She begrudgingly cut the cake in half and said that they would never do it again. Is that what you call customer service?

everything tastes great
I ordered my birthday cake a few days ago and it arrived by delivery slightly damage and with the wrong filling. 't didn't take the cake out of the box and 2 days later half of the frosting on the side of half of the cake fell off. Pile of mush. Have been trying to get a refund and have gotten the runaround for days. People supposed to call back and they don't or don't have someone else do it. And now they insist on pictures which I sent. it seems to me they think I am lying.

Dinkles was recommended to us when we moved to the neighborhood. It ended up being our first meal here and quickly became a tradition. We eat breakfast here every weekend and it’s the first stop when anyone visits! I highly recommend the stuffed croissant.
variety of danish, cakes and cookies and now a sandwich shop. Lived in the area of Roscoe and Lincoln Ave when I was a young teen. Now as a senior I still love their danish.
