Dr. Weerasinghe saved my life! I had Stage 4 kidney failure and was three points away from having to be put on dialysis. I recently came to the Medical Center of Trinity pain inmy stomach and being unable to have a bowel movement and was diagnosed with a bowel blockage. To my surprise it was a cancer. I was fortunate to find Dr Weersingh who was kind and caring. I have not had much run ins with doctors but I know a genuine and caring man when I see one. Had my appendix out recently. He performed a laparoscopic surgery. I had no pain no residual effects very little scarring. I took no pain meds when I left. Just antibiotics. I’m almost 74 yrs old & im back to my normal workout schedule. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank this Dr for a great job. Thank you very much for your excellent handling of my surgery

Dr. Weerasinghe is an extremely competent and professional surgeon. My husband was in an emergency situation and Dr. Weerasinghe diagnosed his situation and performed a removal of a diseased sigmoid colon resulting in a temporary colostomy. He was able to do this laparoscopically. In four months time he was able to reverse his colostomy robotically and with a non-opioid surgical procedure. I have been totally impressed by Dr Werasingh from the time I met him, however I saved this till 3 months after by gastric bypass surgery. The reason is that I wanted make sure that his before and after the surgery was no different. I have lost 70 lbs since the operation, my diabetes is gone, my kidney disease which was told is only going to worsen has never been better and has improved quite to the amazement of my kidney doctor. I left in a day after surgery. His care has been truly remarkable.
