Mercy hospital used to be The best hospital in Bakersfield California now it's not so good there's a few you can't And mynurses and doctors they used to care about their patients now they really don't when you get out of their hospital and they set up transportation for you to Go home they call the crappiest vendor company called transgression which is a horrible vendor it's like you riding in a police car and if your disabled AND never again going there again have a problem can't on a lozy vendor company called progression ... read more

The security guard at the front is extremely rude and incompetent. Please do better especially when you're dealing with patients who are in distress. The medical records are literally impossible to obtain. The doctors were nice and respectful. I went to obtain my medical records and the incompetent receptionists were clueless as to what I was asking for. I have been trying to get my results for about two weeks now, this in unacceptable.

This review is based on safety, not preference. This emergency room is disgusting because they sit you in chairs right next to each other in the back door from the waiting room. No one actually gets seen in their own area so there’s no privacy whatsoever. The nurses discuss your health concerns and everything going on with you right in front of everyone 2 inches from you.
