real food – dicks is not a gourmet burger place but it is a thousand times better than mcdonalds. the fries are an acquired taste. I hated them when i was a kid but love them now. i always get regular cheeseburger, fries and a coke. If you like to chew ice, their ice is the best - it's small and easily chewed - tastes great with a sip of coke. I also like how they have good benefits and pay for their employee's education.
Eh..wasn't impressed – Everyone says that Dick's is so good. However, I wasn't very impressed. The hamburger was pretty average and the fries were terrible. The milkshake that I had was pretty good. Also this Dick's is in a kinda sketchy location around the U. My roommate said that their Deluxe burger is really good..maybe I should have tried that...but I wasn't impressed when I went.
I don't particularly care for Dick's, but everyone I know seems to love it. I prefer to pick my toppings, but you can't customize one of their burgers. That is probably why it is so cheap. It is quick and kids love it.
Avoid weekend nights – This place makes me feel like I'm in high school again. Lots of people from the younger sect gathered around. The food is really not very good. In fact I'd rather get my cholesterol and fat from McDonalds or Burger King. Sorry, but I wasn't that impressed....
Great for those late nights, avoid when sober – If I've been knocking back some cold ones, a Dix's Deluxe is like a flacor exposion in my mouth. Unfortunately, don't expect the same effect if you're sober but do have a milk shake. Perfect consistency between runny and frozen. I guess the value is good but I still find it hard to beat the evil golden arches in that department.
FAST CHEAP and Bring the Handiwipes – A great place to grab food on go if your looking for burger fries and a drink. Do bring your handi wipes though, greasy burger and fries are the norm in a brown dripping bag. If your looking for choices in the menu though dont bother stopping. There is no dine in but there are tables outside during decent weather. Like I said, for Fast Cheap Burger Joint its a great place to grab and go.
if only the fries werent so greasy! – They are so yummy but the fries are so loaded with grease that I can feel myself fit more snugly in my clothes. Not for Jenny craig or weight watchers members.
Yummy for my Tummy! – What is everyone talking about..........."The fries are too greasy!" Come on, if they aren't greasy they aren't fries! I absolutely love their fries, the best thing on the menu. Get them with tarter sauce, nothing better. I always get a deluxe and chocolate shake to go with. Yummy! Everytime we are in Seattle we make our way to 45th for the yummiest, greasiest fries in town.
Richard's has good food and good service. – I have always enjoyed going to this establishment...One of my largest regrets about moving away from Seattle is that I miss their food. Those of you who think that the food is bad, I respect your opinion, but I really disagree. As far as fast food goes, Richard's (can't use the real name..won't let me) knocks McDonalds, Wendy's, BK, etc. out of the water.
