The food was very good. The biggest no- no was that the place was filthy. Torn table cloths that needed wiping off. The ice cream machine needs a powerwasher run over it and don't leave a big purple bottle of industrial degreaser next to the BBQ sauce. Visited the one on Beene Dr. in Bossier City.

As a chef I'm always willing to try a new place close to my home. I went to the Dickey's on Youree Drive to give it a try. I was disappointed to say the least. Beats any BBQ joint in south bossier where we live. We went here after church for the first time yesterday and that was some of the best BBQ I've had in the area. We will be eating here more often. Plus kids eat for free on Sundays!

I want to leave no stars for terrible service and horrid food, but 1 star is the minimum. Luke warm, undercooked, rude, and inadequate are only toptop of iceberg. I imagine worse things are going on behind the scenes. As a regular I've had no problems, but recent experience has dissuaded me from this location.
