Last night was only the second time I've been to Dickey's. I thought when I left Texas u wouldn't find good BBQ in Louisiana but I was wrong. My first time the staff were super friendly and kind but last night was awesome. We got there just before closing and instead of rushing us out they still treated us kindly. I love good BBQ being from South Texas and this place will be one of my fave restaurants when I move this week.
Absolutely terrible. So much gristle and the pork sandwich I couldn't eat it. Macaroni and Cheese look like it was 5 days old. Ice cream machine not working at all. And the guy working took out the trash while I was there and went straight back to counter and put gloves on to make someone else's food. Disgusting!! He couldn't even take his ear buds out long enough to make each guests food. And his blue underwear was showing because his pants were sagging. Not worth the $15.00 for sweet tea, which is all I could eat.
absolutely awaful business ! they had no record of my order my wedding reception was going on they brought food thru the front door they charged my husbands card and my chase card . ! still no resolve very bad business practice ! way past poor ! I cant even rate it we were and have been treated very poorly . !
I've been here a few times. Here is what I CANNOT recommend. The turkey or the chicken - both WAY TOO DRY. The mashed potato casserole side - just bland and weird. The potato salad bland as well. The BBQ beans were straight out of a can. Tasteless. WHAT I CAN RECOMMEND: The sliders with either the sausage (both regular and hot) and the beef brisket. The BBQ sauce is fantastic. Got my order wrong today, then just peeled off pickles and cheese as I watched and tried to tell me they made me a new sandwich. Drink machine was broken, and gave me a fake corporate number to call. Wish I could rate this zero stars
