My curly cut by Yasmine.....she is ALL OF THAT AND THEN MORE....MY HAIR I CAN NOT STOP LOOKING AT MYSELF IN THE MIRROR...I AM BEYOND PLEASE. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Leah and Diaspora Salon! I have had a few curly cuts this year, all from different salons, and all were pretty disappointing. Each time by a white girl with straight hair, and I'm not saying that someone with straight hair can't do curly hair, but I definitely trust someone who *has* textured hair to understand different textures better. Have you ever had a life-changing styling? That’s EXACTLY what I got at Diaspora. I’ve been wearing my hair natural for eight years and have never had a cut and had products that bring my hair to life. My hair color was equally awesome. Leah and Yasmin are truly gifted at what they do and are so personable. I felt like I was hanging out with friends. My appointment was an experience and they have gained a customer for life!
I love Diaspora Salon. I love the service, products, atmosphere, the feeling of sisterhood, and most of all how my hair feels and look when I leave there. I used to travel to Manhattan to get my hair done, but I get what I got there and more at Diaspora.
