Cataracts don’t stand a chance when you’re in the skilled hands of Dr. Shiba. I had cataracts in both eyes, and legally blind in one of them. After surgery I could see clearly. A few weeks of recovery and I have 20-20 vision again. Dr. Shiba is professional, courteous, and always made me feel at ease. I would do both eyes again on the same day in a heartbeat. Golf is fun again because of Dr. Shiba.
Dr. Shiba performed cataracts surgery on both of my eyes and I am extremely happy with the results. I wanted the monovision option for surgery and she did a remarkable job accommodating me. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Shiba for surgery or general ophthalmology. She is completely knowledgeable with a warm personality.
Dr Shiba is a rockstar! I had a rare type of cataract that most dr’s have never seen. Dr Shiba was able to remove the cataract and keep the sac around the eye in tact. She was very kind and explained the procedure to me in detail, she even called me the night before surgery to see if I had any last minute questions. Yes, it takes time to get into see her but it was well worth the wait.
