I have been visiting here for years & years! It has always been my favorite, but the last 2 times were disappointing! Steak was undercooked, fries undercooked, fried mushrooms were teeny tiny, hard & tasted like fish grease. The table was so rickety that it was hard to eat.
This was our first visit and came with friends who drove over 2 hours because of a past positive experience and wanted us to try one of the “best steaks” they have ever had. I have to admit the steaks that were cooked as ordered were great but my husband’s steak was RAW (not rare). When we pointed it out to the waitress her answer was “that’s the way I eat mine”. I took my husband for his birthday last night because this is his favorite place for steak he enjoyed it very much! It was cooked how he asked and very tender he loves their baked potatoes they are always soft and fluffy never hard. I had the create your own seafood platter that was great! They were so attentive I thought I was gonna have to ask them to leave us alone just so we could eat and our tea glass was constantly filled. We have been going since Jordan was 11 tonight we celebrated his 21st birthday there� We have always had great service and the steaks will melt in your mouth . We are going back for my birthday in a few days ... can't wait !!!
Absolutely terrible!!!! If there was a way to rate this place a 0 that’s really what they deserve. I do not at all see how this beats out Big Mikes in Thomasville for the best steak! I ordered a filet and asked for it to be butterflied medium rare I’ve never had a problem anywhere with this request but instead of the waitress telling me they do not do that and asking if I would like a different steak she brought out my steak and simple stated Jim said he will not cook a steak that way.
