I found this animal hospital to be very difficult to deal with. The people that work there are not compassionate and they are not customer service oriented in the least. I would avoid them at all cost
RecommendedDr. Dixon was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
After going to this place for the last four months recently, my pet was basically a guinea pig for a variety of prescriptions for a urinary problem. We noticed his quality of life was going down hill from his last annual visit in general due to a severe disc disease.. Long story short, he died of kidney failure today. Dr. Dixon has a wonderful personality but that’s not going to bring my dog back. She’s overbooked and really doesn’t know her clients. I have been going to Diamond Hill for 10+ years & Dr Dixon saved my 1st dogs life when another vet wanted to put a $400 scope down his throat. Dr Dixon started off simple, then recommended another test...he had pancreatitis & food allergies! He lived 15 1/2 years. I take my current dog there & wouldn’t go anywhere else. It it not a fancy vet building but she spends time with your animal & she’s in business for the animals & not the $$!
This is hands down the worst place to take your pet. I understand we are in a middle of a crisis. But this is is SO UNORGANIZED. Their phone does not work. The staff is never on the same page. I have to call them to check on my dog. When I picked him up his stitches were bleeding still and they didn’t even tell me they took off more spots then originally planned. This DOUBLED my bill WITHOUT MY CONSENT. And when I said I needed his file to take him somewhere else four days in advance, they STILL DID NOT have it ready. Now he... read more
Dr. Dixen and her staff are the best! I take all of my fur babies to her and will do so for any future fur babies as well. The most affordable office I have been too so far, very knowledgeable on specialists (including ER care), and truly cares about her furry patients.
