He (customers name removed by HomeAdvisor) was a very nice young man and was given a full quote on the repairs before the work was started. I have no control over what the cost of material is only labor. We only charged him $150 for 2Hrs and a trip charge to Springhill.We feel that was very fair. Like I said we gave him a full quote BEFORE any repairs were done. I talked to him on the phone after the work was completed regarding where to send the check. Don arrived within an hour of our call for emergency electrical service when half of our home lighting went out. The smell of burning electrical wiring was strong and Don quickly found that our KCPL meter and its wiring going into the house was "fried." He helped me get power company out to turn power off, secured and installed the proper replacement parts, and got power turned back on. Dan arrived on time, and immediately assessed the proposed project. He made a suggestion that would keep the project within the bid we had agreed on, and it made better sense To me to Follow his suggestion. He immediately went to work completed the project in under an hour, & cleaned up behind himself. Any time I have need for an electrician, Dan of Diamond Electric will get to bid first.
