RecommendedI have been buying and reselling Dexter axles for many years. I have a very low percentage of problems and if I do Dexter is very responsive to repair or replacement. I bought a brand-new Featherlite horse trailer and after 5,000 miles they axles went bad and had to be replaced...have been waiting over THREE MONTHS to get a response from Dexter on what they are going to do about it. This is crazy - and definitely NOT "Proven Customer Satisfaction".
Horrible company to do business with. I needed two replacement axles and sent them the serial numbers off of their old axles. I triple checked the measurements, sent them pictures and specifically told the dealer and wrote on the spec sheet that I faxed to the dealer that it had a 3 inch rise. When I got the axles, they were low profile (no rise). Dexters response- no refund no exchange- even when it isn't what I ordered. Now I have to pay more to have them modified.
