I loved this place when I visited it as a little girl with my sister.
Was a fantastic experience! I was amazed that the campground was so quiet and peaceful yet packed.
Very Clean, Not a lot of dirt or spider webs. Great view.
I entered into Devils Tower on Christmas Eve around 11 pm. The stars above the tower were clearly visible, and I soon found the Pleiades constellation, as in the Lakota story of Bear Lodge. I was alone, and in absolute awe of my surroundings. I walked the tower trail, once encountering several deer by the glow of green eyes off of my flashlight. Loved the different hikes. Scenery is awesome... wish I could stay longer. Will be back!
Nice walk around the tower. We were up from AR, bummer the souvenir shops were closed. My daughter really wanted a snow globe. I can't find where I can order one either
Love the wildlife- lots of White tail, and Mule deer. The hiking around Devils Tower was awesome! A photographers dream! Enjoyed the prairie dogs - they really put on the show!
Awe inspiring! Wish there was a little less snow, the trail was a tad difficult for a kid to negotiate. Will go back.
