During the summer go early for a nice cool walk around the base of the monument. Worth the 1.3 mile walk.

Fantastic piece of work created by Mother Nature. We enjoyed the walk around the base of the tower. The benches spaced out along the path were appreciated. The views were gorgeous. We even saw some people climbing the tower. Definitely glad we went.

It's a beautiful natural site and we are so lucky that it is protected. BUT we should really change the name to Bear Lodge and not allow climbing. It is so direspectful to Indians that you still allow climbing.

My second time here and the first for doing the 1.3 mile hike around it. Awesome and inspiring place to visit, always. Love coming here.

I absolutely loved 'Close Encounters' as a kid. Devil's Tower fascinated me as it was depicted in the movie and it did not disappoint when I finally got to see it today. An amazing place if for no other reason than the geology that produced it. My only regret was not finding a secret government 'alien runway' around the back of it�...

Magestic we are camped facing Devils Tower. We wake up to this wonderful site while we're here. So glad we came from Oklahoma to experience this. Got to watch a climber go up this morning and watched him with binoculars until he reached the top.
