My husband made reservations for 6:30 pm on New Years Eve ( my birthday) and we were seated right away. That was the best part. We were seated looking at a young lady ( a worker I assumed) sitting in a corner table with her coat on playing on her phone the whole time we were eating dinner. We were given menus to look over then a big group came in and we were asked for our menus back even though we hadn't ordered yet. The service at Detroit Seafood Market was horrible, and the food was mediocre. The only reason I’m giving them 1 star is because the location is great.
Worst service I've ever experienced! Took an hour and a half to get our meal. Wait staff was terribly inadequate. The food was barely edible; could hardly swallow the fish due to its dryness.
The bread was good....that's about it. All of our fish was over cooked, one entree had to be sent back because it was so greasy and it took an hour to get our food. The waiter was very nice but not very attentive. We complained to the manager, he took the one entree off and gave us a 20% discount, but that still didn't feel like enough considering each entree is $26+ and most of us hardly ate.
Went here on Saturday Dec 2 2017. The food was absolutely disgusting and waited 40 mins for my food and when it came, it was cold. There was only one bartender working the bar and the waiters and waitresses were getting mad because their drink orders weren't ready. I spent $91 and must say it definitely was NOT worth one penny. Hope you guys get it together if you want to stay in business.
The food and service was atrocious I would never ever return one of the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in my city We were the only people in the restaurant we had a party of 16 it took over an hour and a half for them to bring our food and when they brought it it was incorrect or cold I sat there for two hours with the same glass of water that was initially brought to me when I first sat down never checked on the water and was never refilled ,they do not care about a tip because they are paid and gratuity Just plain ole ... read more
