First time ever dining at Detroit Seafood Market last night. They receive a perfect review. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, old school customer service, which is rare these days. The food was fantastic! I will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.
Had a ladies night out with 6 girlfriends, and 5 of us had issues with our dinner. One of my friends were visiting from out of town and totally hated her dish which was stuffed trout I think. It was stuffed with like a moose type of stuff. Not what the menu said. It was a Friday night around 8pm, there was hardly anyone there yet our food was cold with disappointing sides. Recommendedappetizer spinach artichoke crab dip delicious and deep fried twin lobster best ever had!! keep coming back just for that!. the tables are set up so nice for couples, cozy and private. retro 70's love it. awesome service. Latanya was perfect! STRONG cocktails 🤗 definitely worth the money. off the beaten path take effort to find you won't be disappointed!
Seafood hot cold sides, lobster Mac and cheese says it’s for 2 and clearly it’s a single serving
Would not come back. Waited over 1.5 hrs for table for 8. Hostess kept saying there was a table in the back that would be ready in just a few minutes as the people already paid and were getting ready to leave and that was not true- they hadn’t even had their food yet so I think that was said just to appease us. When we finally did get seated it took another hour to get our food and it wasn’t all that great. Good but not great.
The first time I went there about two years ago, I didn’t care for the food or service. Yesterday’s experience was totally different. The food was tasty, the service great, and the drinks reasonable
I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp dish. The rice was very dry with absolutely no seasoning. One of my shrimp was only have deveined and that turned my stomach! I was there Father's Day of last year and they couldn't handle the crowd. I had reservations and my party couldn't sit together. We spent almost $500! Quality is waning! I have no desire to go back.
Disgusting. The quality of the seafood is terrible, awful horrible. It was my first time and Ill NEVER go back
