I had problems with this company from the time they demolished my kitchen. They gave me an estimate but after we signed all our paper work it was stated that they had given us the wrong quote for our counter top. After the issue was some what resolved. They still installed the wrong countertop and faucet. On top of the fact they showed up when they wanted to. My kitchen does look nice. But No I would never recommend them, it was to much of a headache.
RecommendedDetroit Build has wonderful customer service and a quick response time. We needed a last minute quote and Detroit Build made it happen. We're new to the area, but because of this experience very interested in continued work with Detroit Build!
I was referred to Seabrook to look at construction on a small investment property. We agreed what I was looking for was not going to be a fit. Seabrook was up front and honest and still spent 30 minutes giving guidance and recommendations for how I could handle the project. I'd feel very comfortable working with him and would recommend inviting Detroit Build to bid on your project.

It's coming on a year out from our initial meeting with Seabrook, and 8 months since paying our final bill- but we are reminded daily how much we regret hiring Detroit Build. We are living with the after effects of Detroit Build/Whiski Kitchen's inconsistent sub contractors, poor project management, and lack of finishing detail. We have had to hire multiple other companies to fix work done by Detroit Build. We feel our job was not taken seriously, our expectations were not met, and our concerns were met with hostility. Although I’ve worked with several contractors in the past, I keep going back to Detroit Build and have used them in my last 3 homes. I know that I can trust their judgment when it comes to design ideas and I feel comfortable with having them in my house when I’m not home because most of their guys are employees rather than subcontractors. Seabrook from Detroit Build came out to help nspect a home my wife and I were considering renovating. The home was in far worse shape than we had realized.
