I, too, would give them less than a one star if possible. I received the wrong parts and shipped them back per Detroit Axle's return instructions. Never heard back but when I did call customer service I was told that not all the parts were received back and they would not honor the return. I asked to talk to return department to see what the problem was and was told I could not talk to them. I was also told that I could not talk to a supervisor. Worst online experience I have ever had. If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a suspension parts package (front lower control arms, inner/outer tie rods, sway bar links) and only received the control arms. It's taken almost a month since they claim it was delivered and now they say there's nothing I can do except order the parts again with a "discount" when I already paid for the parts. This whole business seems like a scam, I won't use them again and I recommend you don't either.
Detroit Axle, This is the best, by far order, I have ever made. I ordered a Rack and Pinion for my 2004 GMC 1500 and not only was it easy, the product arrived as stated, ON TIME, and in perfect condition. Now for the part that you would not believe, it was several hundred dollars less that Auto Part stores and Amazon.
Purchased CV axle Dec 2024. Axle failed Jan 2026. It might be covered by a lifetime warranty, but what's the point of having a lifetime warranty for a part if I'm going to spend a lifetime replacing it..... especially a part that costs between $150-300 in labor to replace. Even if you can do the work yourself, it's still typically a 3 hour job if you have all the tools to do the job quickly and easily and will typically require an alignment after it's done. Purchased new strut kit for a 2008 Honda accord. Installed struts 3 years ago, approximately 10,000 miles on struts. (wife's car) Both front struts are clicking loudly traveling over speed bumps, or minor road imperfections. Warranty will replace them, (I have to install them) but I have to pay the $82 for shipping. New the front 2 struts are $178 with free shipping. There is no option to choose for other shipping. If I could give less than 1 star I would this pos company isn’t worth a shit they say 2 day shipping and then say it isn’t in stock when their website claims it is…. Not to mention their customer service line is ran by some idiots who think their shit don’t stink calling my brother and I boss and big guy and other condescending names when their the ones fucking up THEIR job
Still have not received my order says 2 day shipping, that's a lie. I ordered it on Monday 1 December and here it is Saturday 6th December and still have not received items. Tracking is saying now Tuesday the 9th who knows at this point.
Very poor experience. Ordered parts, they dais not ship for a week, then when they did it was during a sale, when I called to ask for sale price was told no its not possible as you ordered before the sale. you have lost a customer for life over price that you would give anyone?
Totally Lost my business permanently...ordered parts which I had to return due to the fact that they sent me wrong parts. Return department is nothing more than overseas individuals you could barely understand who really don't help. I was still forced to pay shipping on items that weren't for my car.
