Know the new owner and she has been baking me stuff since we were teenagers....truly talented and her stuff is always delicious!
Best bakery in NJ!!! Their cookies are awesome!! They made the most beautiful birthday cake for my twins first birthday party and our party guests couldn't get over how tasty it was.

I bought the carrot cake cup cakes on Tuesday....all I can say is "delicious... .outrageous....amazing.....oh so good....sad I'm stuck home and can't get more. Everything is good in the Dessert Plate.
so amazing! I went in on a whim this January and can't say enough! We met the new owner, Erin, and she's awesome! they made me a cake for a graduation and not only was it so beautiful, but I can honestly say it was the best tasting cake I've ever had. They have a bunch of options of what type of cake, filling, and frosting and they helped me choose. Amazing quality, I'll be back.
The best place in Somerville. If your looking for coffee, breakfast, or the absolutely best cakes they can't be beat! Nothing makes your most special events even better like treats from the Dessert Plate!
Beats the hell out of Starbucks. The cookies and scones are cheaper too and oh boy are they amazing. The new ham, cheese, and scallion scone is possibly one of the best things I've tasted. That and the flourless chocolate cake. Definitely check it out!
