Amazing pediatrician! Dr. Jolly has always been so nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. Totally recommend him!
Dr. Jolly is an exceptional pediatrician. He listens to both the parents and kids. He also speaks to our kids with respect and doesn’t talk down to them. He hears what we have to say but then wants to hear it from your kid. He is direct and honest and doesn’t sugar coat things, which is refreshing in the medical field. During the recent video consultation, the provider’s communication style was overly assertive and did not reflect active listening. He asked very few questions, despite being unfamiliar with my daughter, and appeared to make assumptions without obtaining the full clinical picture. The conversation was frequently interrupted, leaving little opportunity for us to share relevant information. Went with my 15 month old son for a sick visit related to an ear infection, and left with a recommendation to get him screened for autism based on his 5 minute observation in the office. How, as a medical professional, you can tell a parent their child is autistic because he does not like the otoscope in his ear, and is slightly behind the accepted milestones for speech development, is beyond me.
