Paid $250 for them to open a electric box and be unable to fix it

Wow... That is a lot of money. Although, you where given and agreed to that price before we started. That being said... The DTE box we opened was sparking and burning. We suggested calling DTE being it would save you much more. Should we have been dishonest and told you we can fix it, when it ended up costing you much less? For 40 years we have always been on the honest side and refuse to cheat our clients. Now maybe you can praise us or try a different company.
Lenny and his crew were prompt and efficient. They are also very responsive. They completed my electrical project the very same day I spoke with them.
We just moved into a new house and had a switch that didn't seem to do anything but trip a fuse. I filled out a request for a quote from Designer Electric at 7:00 on a Sunday night. I got a call from the owner within half an hour! He sent someone out the following day. Mo, the electrician that came to my house, was superb! He was friendly, efficient and very thorough. Great service. Everything was repaired to our satisfaction. Plus, the technician wrote out what we needed to ask when we called the electric company.
Everything was fine, including the service guy ... Note that I don't give 5-star grades to anyone, so Designer Electric gets my high score.
Lenny was extremely responsive and knowledgable. Very easy to work with. Given a phone call and a few pictures, he completely understood what had to be done (better than I) and priced out the job. He replaced my 40-year old, fuse-based panel with a 100-amp circuit breaker panel, an interlock switch and inlet box for my portable generator. Service was provided within hours of my initial call, and was not something that could wait to be completed. I was very satisfied with the work that was completed, and the cost for completing the work. I would highly recommend this service provider if you do require electrical service.
