The room was great, but several of the front desk staff were very rude. I have stayed here several times and always have a good experience, but this time I feel like I was treated like a criminal when I asked the front desk for a tooth brush. I probably won't be staying here again due to this.
We travel a lot and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The hotel was so beautiful and the employees were so friendly. The breakfast was amazing. This will be our go to place whenever we are in Des Moines!
Very nice mid to upscale hotel. Good bar and an overall laid back vibe. Only cons would be the excessive street noise heard in the room and the breakfast was a bit lackluster. The noise is somewhat expected due to the location I know, and I'm hoping I was there in an off day for the breakfast.
