So so bad.. I had multiple appointments at New Farm and was charged the first appointment fee everytime... $800 down and was told I need to come back again the next week if I want a script for acne medication which I received on my first appointment at the Oxford Street Bulimba Dermatologist (go here instead of New Farm). The New Farm doctor Nick Van Rooij was running late so rushed me in and out within 5 mins without listening to my health concerns and preferences. the staff are nice & the place is clean, but EVERY time i’m here (on time) i’m still left waiting 30+ minutes before i get seen. 5 minutes & $300 consult later just to get a script refilled, ridiculous!

I recently had my appointment cancelled without my knowledge, despite the fact I drove up from the Gold Coast to attend and took a day off work. I booked the appointment months ago with a receptionist that had absolutely no idea what she was doing. She came on and off the line several times before finally giving me an appointment. I gave her my new number at that time and she even read the number out to me. Therefore, I have no idea why my appointment was cancelled, due to my apparent failure to confirm. We are incredibly grateful to Dr Brad Jones for seeing my daughter, Isabelle, at short notice for an urgent appointment. He was kind, thorough, and genuinely attentive. Most importantly, he identified a treatment path and offered advice that several other doctors had overlooked.
