Have been seeing Dr. Penton for a couple years now. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Skin cancer is nothing to ignore. I highly recommend her.
I am so happy to be a patient of Dr. Penton. She is awesome. Recently I went to her to have her check out a spot on my chest. She told me that was nothing and not to worry about it. Then she started looking around in my scalp, neck, back, arms, etc., and found a spot that concerned her. Biopsy revealed that is was melanoma. She referred me to a surgeon who removed it. I have seen Dr Penton twice and she is amazing and patient. I also see Meredith for all of my laser skin care needs and if I could give this clinic 10 stars, I would. I have dealt w rosacea for many years and seen countless Dr's but Dr Penton and Meredith have my skin in the best shape it's been in in many years. Their tailored laser treatment is the most effective I have found. I have wasted money elsewhere......I am so thankful I found Dermatology Center of Acadiana!
Dr. Penton was absolutely wonderful with my very frightened 2 year old. She saw him for molluscum which required her to freeze the many areas. She was so patient and kind with him and explained to him she had 3 little boys. She took her time, allowed him time outs , and I have nothing but praise and respect for her treatment of my son.
Extremely disappointed. Getting bills from places that were not initially disclosed to you is not good business. Will not be returning.
My review is based off past experiences. I have an ongoing issue that will most likely always need to be treated or maintained. Dr. Kennedy and Derm. center of Acadiana was the only place I could make an appointment almost immediately and not have to wait 2-3 months. I really had nothing to lose as no over the counter meds were working for me. Dr. Kennedy listened and assessed my situation and we started trial and error on many different things. Made us wait over a hour to be seen. Charged us just to tell us the wouldn't do what we were asking and paying for.
