I have been here 4 or 5 times. Yes, sometimes you have to wait, but each patient is different sometimes it takes a little longer. Never have I been treated like a number.
My appointment was 45 min late and when I saw nurse after talking to her assistant for 3 minutes she spends 1 min looking at me and throws free samples at me plus she never called in my prescription. Not a fan of this place I wasted $150 for nothing. Cancel your appointment. I cancelled my follow up waste of $$ and normally I don’t write reviews.
These doctors should be ashamed of themselves. They bill for the same procedure three different ways. Doctor rushed my exam and gave me absolutely no confidence that my skin is healthy. These are the sort of doctors that are ruining American Medical Care by bilking their customers for as much money as they can and not giving a hoot about your health.
I tried this place because there was too long of a wait through my other dermatology office. I regret it! I had a rash checked and a mole scraped (not removed...scraped, to flatten it). They sent my insurance company 3 separate bills. One for the office visit and procedure, one to prep the pathology and another to read the pathology. All together....$1,200. Are you kidding me? Out of pocket, I'm being asked to pay over $500. I've had plenty of these procedures done in the past from my other dermatologist and NEVER have they ... read more
You will be treated like a number with no individual care.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. They don't listen to what you say. You can't talk on the phone to the actual dermatologist so incorrect information is passed on to and from the doctor. They are a machine meant to pump in and out as many patients as they can with very little care about their the patients themselves. Find somewhere else to go. You will save a lot of stress and headaches. (My reference is to the Green Bay Development Dr location)
Dr. Michelle Lewis - DON'T I broke out in severe mouth sores and hive-like rashes out of nowhere. I had seen Michelle Lewis once before for overall mole check and a facial reddening, for which she prescribed Metrogel, so I scheduled to see her again. She didn't even get within 5 feet of me, and in 30 seconds diagnosed me with "contact dermatitis" and picked up like she was done. I told her there had been a series of worsening symptoms and she insisted that I had developed some allergy, although I buy the same products all th... read more
I had to wait 20 minutes to see the Doctor which seems to be typical of all Doctor Appointments, not just at Dermatology Associates. When my name was called I only waited a few minutes before the Doctor came into the exam room. She found a suspicious mole, did a biopsy and I was contacted with the results within a 48 hours. An excision was performed a week later. The Exam Doctor, Surgeon and support staffs were all very friendly and professional during my visits. In talking to friends who have had similar exams it was sugges... read more
This review is for Dermatology Associates of Appleton, WI. I have been to dermatologists before that were much more thorough and a lot less expensive. When I had a follow up question two weeks after my appointment with Dr. Lewis, I was told they had no record of the spot for my concern and I would need to come in for another appointment. I know we addressed this spot because I was given a topical ointment to treat. When I asked the cost of a follow up appointment, I was told "I don't know".
