I went to Dr. Johnson back in 2011, for extremely bad knee pain. And not knowing what to expect, he recommended that I needed knee surgery to correct a severe problem...Bone on Bone in the joint, plus my leg was 15 degrees out of being straight. I was scared to the point of not knowing what to do. Himself plus his team reassured me things would go well, so I had the surgery, no infection, my leg was straight ( new laser technology ) I was up walking the next day, at the hospital. Ten Stars !!
Dr Johnson did both my knees prior to 2013 (full replacements), and only 3 months apart. He is amazing as is his assistant !! They were both pretty much pain free surgerirs and he has an excellent pain management plan. Recovery was very fast and at 45 yrs old..i was amazed at that. Its been yrs now and i can say after hearing of nightmare stories of other Drs, the pain afterwards, i am so glad i went to Dr Johnson instead of another Dr. Cannot recommend anyone better !!
I may be the exception (or Dr. Johnson may be the exception), but I had bilateral knee replacement surgery May 21, 2018. My surgeon and surgery could not have been a better experience. I did the work pre-surgery and Dr. Johnson did the best surgery. Together I had NO PAIN beyond a 2 (except on day 3 post surgery). I walked without a walker on day 2. I did my exercises daily and with PT at Body Image. I could not have had a better result. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson. His staff is superb, also
Don't waste your time with this guy. He spent 5 minutes with me during my initial appointment and told me to get an MRI. When it came time to review the MRI results, I received two calls from his office asking me to see his PA or I could reschedule. Told them to go pound sand after the second call. If he doesn't have the time to fulfill his obligations to his patients.

I'm sorry for your frustration. I made some last minute changes to my summer vacation plans, which required several scheduling changes the last two weeks of June. To avoid the inconvenience of rescheduling appointments to a different day and time, we did offer the opportunity for patients to see one of my physician assistants at their scheduled time. I'm sorry you didn't feel this was acceptable.
Great experience and great results. Dr. Johnson listened, evaluated, was concise and focused in his treatment... and followed through in post surgical care. He was terrific.
I tore my ACL/meniscus playing softball, I've been playing sports most of my life, and at 51, it was a scary situation. I'm so thankful to have found Dr. Johnson! He performed surgery on my knee on 12-08-2017, and I have had no issues whatsoever. He is serious, highly skilled, laser sharp and he uses evidence-based, cutting-edge techniques. He initially appears impersonal, but once he gets to know you, he's funny, playful and charming. He's a great surgeon and I highly recommend him!
I had BOTH knees replaced in 2017. Dr. Johnson performed both surgeries. He is amazing. I rebounded very quickly from both operations and highly recommend Dr. Johnson for any type of knee surgery. I am back to doing what I love to do, long walks, bike riding and just being able to climb stairs is so much easier now. This is without a doubt one of the best things I have ever done for my overall health. Don't put it off. Dr. Johnson will take excellent care of you!
I found myself in need of a total hip replacement and found that many people recommended Dr. Johnson, including the whole physical therapy department at Parker Adventist Hospital, and several friends at my church. I had my hip replacement in January 2018. It was an outpatient procedure -- surgery at 11:30 am, home at 8:30 that night, able to use a walker, go carefully up and down steps, and now 2-1/2 months from surgery I have zero pain and total function in my hip. Thank you, Dr. Johnson!
I can not give enough praise regarding Dr. Johnson and his team. I had reconstructive hip surgery in November 2017. The outcome is phenomenal! I literally have a life to live now, while prior to meeting with Dr. Johnson I had resigned myself to a sedentary lifestyle due to pain. Dr. Johnson is highly skilled and the ranks at the top of his profession in my book. I recommend him highly and truthfully say: If you want the best possible outcome he is man to do it.
