I value what Derek did for me during a tough period in my life, helping me navigate through a few some storm clouds with patience and thoughtful perspective. Our sessions made a real difference. Derek listened without judgment. He asked questions which helped me see things under a different (healthier) light. I always felt supported, and quite thankful for the progress I made during our sessions.
Derek does an amazing job at making me feel completely comfortable to share anything. I’ve never felt judged or criticized, only reassured and validated. He’s also exceptional at not only helping you work through anxiety, depression, stress or relationship problems but he also helps you understand why your brain works that way. He’s truly been such an impact in my life and would recommend him to anyone
We were referred to a few counselors last year when our son was experiencing more than he could handle, and more than he was willing to let us help. We are so thankful we chose to see Derek. Derek is the first person that our son has opened up to in a very long time. Derek is relatable, personable and truly wants to help. Our son looks up to Derek and chooses to continue to see him even when things are going good. He’s that important. We highly recommend giving him a call.
I give Derek Coffey Counseling a 5 star if I could rate Derek at a higher rating I would. Derek is a wonderful counselor to my children. He makes them feel very safe and very welcoming. My kids have express to me that Derek makes them feel like they can express themselves freely without having to hold anything back.
