Considering how small the town was... I was pleasantly surprised at this beautiful hotel and their hospitality. The rooms were so comfortable and the train memorabilia was interesting. One of the nicest lobby's.
We had an awesome stay here with the tour from zephyr route. Thanks for having us! Everything was clean, the decor is wonderful, wifi is excellent, the pool is nice, and the staff is wonderful.
Two extended stays here, while working in NE Missouri. Very comfortable beds & well appointed for an independent establishment. Plenty of Railway history on display here as well.
Right outside of Kirksville and well worth the 12 mile drive. This place was nothing but clean and felt more like a home then a hotel. The wifi was great, the pool was heated, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend staying the night at this place anytime. I booked my room online, but if you call and book your reservation you get 10% off, wish I would have known that earlier.
Very clean, professional, accommodating, yet different place to stay. If you're looking for unique, this might be a place to try. Good wine too!

Great place to stay for anyone interested in Railroading. The accomodations are as nice as any place we've stayed. I wish LaPlatta had more reasturants and attractions
