Been to the Depot inn a couple of times. Great beds. The pool is excellent and a perfect location for day trips to Long Branch, Hazel Creek or other outdoor adventures. Staff very helpful and generous. I used to stay at sites in Macon or Kirksville, but no more. The amenities are better at the Depot and so are the room rates. Besides its full of train stuff

My fiancee and I came here to celebrate our 1st year together. We had a great time, watched a few trains, went swimming in the pool and had a romantic night in one of the theme rooms. My fiancee works for union Pacific railroad and loves trains so this was a very nice weekend to get away and enjoy his hobby with him as well as have a romantic weekend. Cant wait to go back!
