Absolutely the nicest place we’ve ever stayed and we’ve traveled a lot! Not just a hotel but a destination In itself if you’re a fan of railroad history or just looking for a great guest experience away from the big cities. The nicest accommodations and incredibly friendly staff with lots of history to see right on the property itself. While the town itself has limited places for dining, it sits just a short drive both north and south where there are plenty of choices. Highly recommended by this frequent traveler.

What a delightful surprise! We felt so welcomed and blessed by our visit to the Depot Inn! The absolutely beautiful craftsmanship if the lobby, combined with the fascinating decor and memorabilia was even better in person. The owners themselves greeted us and invited us! What wonderful people! I'd never been to this part of Missouri before, but surely would want to visit here again after making their acquaintance. this is the most comfortable and cleanest hotel. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and treat you like family. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the owner and staff.

the staff and everyone was very nice. I got to play floation device very nice swimming pool. and to have more fun a pool table in the lobby. out of 5 stars. 4 1/2. please don't take this the wrong way. definitely a must stop and stay a night or two place.
