The finest dining in and around Robertson County. When Mr. Elliott built his grocery store in his yard in 1922, then known as The Brick Storehouse, who would have known the building would eventually be the home of Springfields premier dining house known now as Depot Bar & Grill. In 1943, Mr. Elliotts son Otto, took the store over and changed the name to Elliotts Store. Phil and I was there for Lunch today first time there, best Hamburger we ever had. The best service. Outstanding place to eat. We had 2 trains to come by too. One each way. I live Trains

The service was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice. The food was great and the menu had items I would be interested in having on another visit. I travel around the state for my job and like to try local restaurants when I can, this will definitely be a place I come back to anytime I'm in Springfield or the area around.
This is by far my favorite restaurant. I'm never afraid to try something new on the menu as every single thing I have had has been spectacular. Their homemade fried pickles are to die for! And to round out the meal, a must have is the banana pudding, the best I have ever had. Try The Depot; you will come back again and again.
