DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC. They do not care about you. All they care about is liability and money. The prescribers are all young and inexperienced and the clinical director is one of the most unprofessional medical professionals I’ve dealt with, and I go to the VA. The front desk staff is unfriendly. They will drop you like a bad habit for any perceived infraction leaving you without meds. I waited 4 months for a psych eval after they set me up with a psychiatrist who was leaving the practice in 2 weeks, then told me to wait another 1.5 months for an appointment at the end of all that time. Don’t even try with these people, you won’t get to see anyone.
Dr. Laurel Tronsen is a great listener and very attentive. I truly appreciate that she asks thoughtful questions, follows up on details from previous visits, and is consistently thorough in her approach. I feel safe in her care and trust that she always has my best interests at heart.
Friendly front desk staff, virtually no wait times, and my PA, Sarah, is always attentive and efficient.
Unfortunately I recommend you not go to Denver Wellness for mental health counseling. The "treatment" offered here is not helpful and will hurt you. If you are someone who needs to rant or just wants someone understanding to acknowledge how rough things are, you'll be fine with the twenty-somethings who will listen and nod along. If you need some actual treatment or real help though, this isn't the place you'll get it. I had very poor experiences with two of their therapists who had no idea what they were doing.
