My name is Andy Silverman, and I am a long-standing patient of Dr. Reeves. She has now twice saved the vision in one of my eyes and is the consummate professional. She is more thorough than any doctor I've ever met, and takes the time to help her patients make well educated decisions (which is why it is sometimes necessary to wait to see her). I recommend Dr. Reeves, without qualification, to anyone in need of the services which she provides.
Dr. Reeves saved my eyesight, not once but twice! When the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute released me and said they didn't know how to treat me, I went to Dr. Reeves for a second opinion. She didn't know what caused my condition but she said she knew how to fix it and she did! She performed a macular peel in 2011. After removal of a surgery induced cataract and then laser surgery to eliminate glaucoma I have near perfect vision in my left eye. My mother has been receiving treatment for Macular Degeneration since 2010. There is no miracle cure but we continue to treat to stabilize the disease. She receives excellent care and compassion from Dr. Reeves.
I saw Dr. Reeves in 2013 after moving to the area. I was under the care of Dr. Patel in Plano, Tx. The way she performed her surgery was an old way (according to my previous doctor). I had to return to Dallas monthly for eye injections. She scratched my cornea and did not tell me. Dr. Patel told me that he could see this without any instruments. The pain I had to endure was unreal. I would not recommend her to anyone. She also degraded a staff member in front of me and said the patients name. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
