Not publicly denouncing and punishing racist employees, sorry. You can do better as a open institution.
Dr. Michelle Herren has publicly revealed she has racist tendencies . I would be concern about the quality of care she provides to minority patients. Unfortunately, Denver Health could open themselves to future or current lawsuits by minorities because Dr. Herren would base her decisions on her screwed views on race. She should be dismissed.
If I could rate this a zero I would , you can not have a mission as such and have a woman that isn't personally aligned with it . So she can be racist at home but she get to work she has a switch to turn it off. I do not think it works like that . You may want to look into the people she has examined and make sure she hasn't had any complaints . & if you haven't notice your rating is going down a lot and such little time and you know how big Social Media is nowadays and how people actually read reviews before going to places... read more
With the termination of Michelle Herren, Denver Health has recently proven to me that they continually strive to (and DO in fact) live up to their Mission Statement which is to provide high quality care, as well as a safe environment to all regardless of age, ethnicity or social background.
Nice response to a shitty person. "Powerless" over their opinions? That's not even opinion, that's you trying to cover up.
employer of Dr. Michelle Herren, racist. I would not want her touching my child or any loved one. They need to get this bigout out of the operating room and out of their organization!!
Seriously, a hospital that employees such a racist gasbag is worth less than any stars.
You are complicit in your employee, Dr. Michelle Herren's racism as long as you keep her on your staff. Shameful.
Shame on you for allowing an openly racist women who calls Michelle Obama a monkey face to continue to work at your organization. While people may have free speech, employers are entitled to fire employees when they don't live up to their brand promise or values
