Denver Health Appointment desk is a nightmare. They don’t listen to their patients. I tired several times to get an appointment after a referral was sent to the wrong department. I had the staff from my doctor trying to solve the problem instead of seeing patients. The appointment desk said you can go online to make an appointment which is not true. I appreciate that the staff at Denver Health tries to be nice, but unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. During my visit, multiple personal items went missing, including my clothing, jacket, house keys, and an Anker battery charger. These were lost somewhere between the ambulance ride and the hospital transfer, and despite several attempts to recover them, they never resurfaced. On October 30th, 2024, I had lower spinal surgery performed on me by Dr Angela. Downes. She lied to me about the procedure she told me she was going to do and did something completely different. I found out on my own. Most EGREGIOUS of all is I contracted MRSA during that surgery, even though I complained about pain thereafter, Dr. Downes absolutely nothing to help me.
