DCTA does not support ALL teachers... They left ProTechs in the district hanging out to dry. We had meetings, signed papers to organize and then the phone calls stopped being received. ProTechs and retired teachers coming back to the classroom are just as important and need union support. Fight for ALL teachers!
The DCTA is filled with passionate teachers who are willing to help other teachers just because they care about the students. The bargaining team has been strong and wonderful! We are stronger when united!

I want to give appreciation and recognition to our DPS teachers and their negotiation team. As a former teacher, and now a parent of DPS students, I support your work to ensure teachers are paid a living salary to do the most important jobs in our community.
We need to nurture the learning environment of classrooms in northeast Denver and that begins with supporting teachers.
