Dr Jung & his staff are the nicest most efficient people, and as importantly thorough, knowledgeable & patient with all my questions. Highly recommend.
Their good bedside manner is window-dressing. As a transgender person with a trans partner, I felt reassured by other reviews and this office's purported support for my identity. However, I'm dealing with Dr. Sukyong Allen Jung's unprofessionalism as he fails to protect me from a bigoted staff member, fosters an unsafe environment, and denies this is a problem. Amazing dental practice in Philly! Dawn and Dr. Jung are awesome and very thorough.
This practice is known for their patient care, and my review will challenge the truth of that. My partner and I are both transgender and we quickly noticed how the staff were uncomfortable and sometimes outright against using our correct pronouns, especially Dawn, the dental hygienist. Dawn repeatedly misgendered me and my partner. Upon correcting her, she would deny that she even misgendered us in the first place. We addressed this issue with Dr. Jung via email.
