I am beyond Happy & Grateful for this office & all of their staff!! We have struggled to find a dentist for my 4yr old son as he has extreme anxiety & just plain horrified of the dentist. We were told by about 4/5 different offices that the only way to get his dental work done, would be to put him to sleep! As both my husband & I were completely against that option, we decided to try this office! My son said he wants Dr. Kollmann to be his forever dentist! Him & everyone there are heaven sent people who have such an understa... read more
The “No Whining” sign was the first major red flag. I came in to have my three year old’s teeth assessed. I filled out a list to indicate very clearly the ways in which my daughter is sensitive include loud voices and also separation anxiety. The doctor immediately decided to try to pull my daughter away from me to see if she would go with her - and my daughter became traumatized and cried for me. I’m not sure what dentist would require a child (especially a three year old) to be separated from their guardian for treatments,... read more

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. - You were in the room with your daughter, myself and my assistant the entire visit. - I offered for you to be in the room during future treatment and we discussed ideas to help her with her sensitivities. - Only after my exam of her teeth and about 20 minutes of conversation did I ask you for permission to see if she would come with me to get a prize for being such a good girl. You nodded ok. It was never my intention to traumatize her. I am not familiar with your Ministry’s t... read more

Very kid friendly part of Lurie Children’s Hospital Chicago
Drs. Cissy & Kollmann are the best. I send all of my pediatric patients here.
Seriously amazing. They bring the kids back on their own which makes them much more calm. They are masters of distraction. They explain everything with just the right amount of detail to give kids some understanding, but not enough to freak them out. Love love them.
