Dr. Allan Pyke: Dentistry For Children My son wasn;t fond of the dentist so searched for a pediatric dentist and found the best office around! Dr. Pyke is great with kids. He nmakes them feel comnfortable and still is able to maintain a professional atmosphere in his office. $$5000 later and my son looks horrible This guy is nothing but a money hungry wimp! I took my son there because he was premature and he had really soft teeth, and was developing cavities! He talked us into putting him to sleep at which time he fixed his cavities, and put crown covers (whatever they are called) over his teeth! Total cost over $5000 about $3000 right out of our pocket! Ok for some Dr. Pyke's antics work well with some, but not all. We started going to him several years ago because my kids did not like the pediatric dentist in Boyertown. For a few years, my kids were amused by him, but by the time my son reached 12, he really hated the silliness. Dr. Pyke needs to alter his behavior for the different aged kids. Treatment wonderful, staff and financial awful Dr. Pyke is wonderful. He treats my special needs child and my daughter who is terrified of dentists. His financial staff is horrific. They are never helpful, and have been extremely arrogrant. We have been with them for 5 years, and got behind on one bill (lost it/forgot). They not refuse to treat my children without full payment in cash up front, and will not submit insurance claims. We would like to leave, but really like the treatment. Cannot say enough about Dr. Pyke and his staff. He has an excellent demeanor and is wonderful with both parents and kids. I have seen both pediatric dentists at this practice and they are fabulous!
Wonderful!!! My 18 month old son fell flat on his face, lots of bleeding, etc. When I called various pediatric dentists offices Dr. Pyke was the only one who said, bring him down immediately. I was extremely pleased with the exam. Dr. Pyke explained everything very well to a very upset mother and toddler!!! Since then I have also returned to his office for regular check-ups for both of my children. He is excellent.
