Excellent
My 3 kids are patients of Dr. Pyke ages 6, 5 and 3 1/2. I really liked the professionalism of the hygenists. When my children got there the hygenists got to know them a little bit and showed them around and made them feel very comfortable. I would reccommend this office to someone looking for a dentist for children. My kids actually look foward to their checkups.

Wonderful!!!
My 18 month old son fell flat on his face, lots of bleeding, etc. When I called various pediatric dentists offices Dr. Pyke was the only one who said, bring him down immediately. I was extremely pleased with the exam. Dr. Pyke explained everything very well to a very upset mother and toddler!!! Since then I have also returned to his office for regular check-ups for both of my children. He is excellent.

Do NOT Recommend This Dentist
Dr. Pyke was extremely rude to myself and made my child very uncomfortable. Neither of us appreciated his antics (tickling, joking about putting kids in the trash). He thought it was funny but it was highly inappropriate. My child hated when it was time to go to the dentist. He claims to be child friendly/able to address dentistry for children with special needs, but he is none of these things. After being unhappy about taking my kids to this dentist, I went with my gut and found a new place to go. I don't recommend Dr. Pyke.

Ok for some
Dr. Pyke's antics work well with some, but not all. We started going to him several years ago because my kids did not like the pediatric dentist in Boyertown. For a few years, my kids were amused by him, but by the time my son reached 12, he really hated the silliness. Dr. Pyke needs to alter his behavior for the different aged kids. The office staff is some of the worst I've ever dealt with. Very rude any time I have to call or speak to them. They make so many confirmation calls it's ridiculous! I confirmed with a response to their text, but they still called and called my cell, work, home... I don't have the time or patience for that!

Dr. Allan Pyke: Dentistry For Children
My son wasn;t fond of the dentist so searched for a pediatric dentist and found the best office around! Dr. Pyke is great with kids. He nmakes them feel comnfortable and still is able to maintain a professional atmosphere in his office. The kidding and joking puts the kids(and the parents ) at ease and allows him to get the exam and/or work done. The hygentists are fabulous! Always kind and sweeto the patients. They do a thorough job and make good dental care fun. Dr Pyke has brought other doctors into the practice and we have had the pleasure of having an appointment with Dr. Patel. She has been wonderful with my small chiuld. Even filling two small cavities wasn;t a problem. PROS: Nice atmosphere , great dental care CONS: Office staff can be snippy

Dr. Pyke DDS - Dentistry is the **BEST**!
I took both my girls to Dr. Pyke's office in Pottstown last month. Dr. Pyke is truly gifted with kids - he sang my 11 year old Jonas Brothers songs, and even entertained my two year old. I had warned them that she was a bit of a handful and they said it was no big deal. Dr. Pyke made her giggle and she let him do everything he needed to get done! He was GREAT! Dr. Pyke's hygenist was super nice as well and explained everything before she did it! I highly recommend their office to anyone who has kids that want to be treated like gold.

Cannot say enough
about Dr. Pyke and his staff. He has an excellent demeanor and is wonderful with both parents and kids. I have seen both pediatric dentists at this practice and they are fabulous!

LOVE HIM and his dental staff....BUT billing personal will ruin you!! Don't fall for "Oh we will bill you" OR "As a courtesy we will bill your insurance even though they are not in our system" ....YOU WILL GET TURNED OVER TO A COLLECTION AGENCY!!! If your insurance does not pay fast enough say goodbye to your credit score!!!
