I now have a new hip thanks to the wonderful program at Baptist in Jacksonville. I will never use Advent for anything again. I am in the process of moving my entire medical care to Jacksonville.
I met Dr. Alter years ago in emergency room. I had fallen and wanted to be examined for potential injuries. Turn out I had broken my shoulder. I had to wait a bit, but Dr. Alter performed surgery that day. Two days in hospital, then home with no discomfort. I started seeing Dr. Alter for knee problems. No surgery but take injections every 6-8 months as needed. We have been informed Dr. Alter is retiring end of 2025. We will greatly miss him.
