Dr. Berger has been my podiatrist for 20 years and has always been a great help. He is not one to opt for an expensive treatment regimen and uses common sense in taking care of my foot issues. I ended up in the hospital with a very bad staph infection on my foot and while the hospitalist wanted to operate and remove my great toe, Dr. Berger overrode that treatment plan. In short he saved my toe.
My son recommended Dr. Berger. Dr. Berger solved my son's foot problem after three other doctors were unable to. Dr. Berger operated on my bunion and all I can say is that things are doing as expected. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Berger and would recommend him for any situation that he tells you he can take care of.
I have been going to Dr. Berger for 25+ years. I went to him initially for plantar fasciitis but he discovered that I had a tumor on my right toe joint. It was a very fast growing bone tumor so much so that the insurer didn't require a second opinion on the surgery. He also did the surgery for reattach the tendon in my right foot caused by several previous ankle injuries. Each time he listened to my concerns and explained everything clearly.
