I first saw Dr. Ellis after another dentist insisted all of my silver fillings needed replacement. Dr. Ellis told me that not only were all those old fillings fine, but that removing and replacing fillings would make the cavity a bit larger and potentially compromise the tooth. Going to Ellis Dentistry is like going to a comedy club. I actually laugh at Denny's cracks and give them back throughout the procedure (except when I can't move my mouth). My latest visit was no exception. My problem is gone and my teeth look great! (And Tammy and I had a great time exchanging movie reviews.) I have made the drive from Raleigh to Chapel Hill for this superb dental service for decades. Absolutely worth it!
Dr. Ellis is the best dentist ever: excellent care, very, very smart, up to date on best practices, kind and compassionate and a lot of fun. Makes you feel comfortable because he understands you (OK, ME) are nervous but everyone leaves smiling. He has been my dentist for over 30 years. I think that says it all!
We love Dr. Ellis and all his staff. We still drive from Myrtle Beach for dental appointments.
As always, I received excellent care in a great environment. I would recommend Dr Ellis to anyone.
