I recently visited this office and want to start by saying that the doctor herself was excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable during my appointment. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff has been consistently disappointing. On both visits, the receptionist came across as rude, cold, and unwelcoming. Dr.Dennie is fine. Her receptionist is an absolute monster of a woman! I called the office simply to confirm some information and was met with an incredibly rude and condescending response from the receptionist. At one point I was told, “Well if your doctor took two minutes they would have told you.” That kind of comment is completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Sarah’s behaviour is consistently cruel and deeply unprofessional. She speaks down to everyone she encounters both her coworkers and her patients with a level of condescension that is unacceptable in any workplace, especially in healthcare. Compassion, respect, and basic decency are not optional qualities in this field, yet she shows none of them. Whether this doctor is retiring soon or not is irrelevant. I had a total hysterectomy performed by Dr Dennie 9 months ago and the whole experience was excellent. I’d never had any kind of surgery before, not even having my wisdom teeth out, so I was anxious about the whole process. Dr. Dennie was very thorough and reassuring, and talked me through what to expect. I had a hard time asking for the result of my MRI.The receptionist said the result is the same with my other test.Spent minutes and minutes asking her to just send me a copy of my MRI and she keeps repeating same answer omg!!!
