Not enough staff to handle the pre "Hamilton" crowd. We were told the servers were overwhelmed, so we said its okay we will wait for our table. Once seated I noticed the table next to us had finished their entrees, and their drinks came out. The other table didn't get their fries with their meal, and 2 orders of fries came at 2 different times later. Went here for dinner before Hamilton. We have 4 eaters with very different palates and different dietary needs. They accommodated everything. We were all extremely pleased with our dishes. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. Brown butter cauliflower amazing. Scallops were divine. Braised short rib fell apart on the fork. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. We had a 6pm reservation, arrived early and was seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We had plenty of time to eat and get to the show. Would eat at again!
The service started out great but then deteriorated. Hardly saw the waiter. Granted the Pantages draws a lot of attention but we've been here many times before going to the theatre and this was bad. Food was good.
