The food, service and ambience were exceptional!!!!! Steaks never tasted this good! I will come back every time I am in NY!!!!!!As an example of how good they are I was tempted to call the waitress over as my ribeye steak appeared to be a little tough! It was slightly hard to cut but when it hit my mouth it melted like butter. It was then that I discovered I was not using the serrated edge of the knife. This proves several things about their meat. We had dinner here Saturday night. I loved the decor, an old world steakhouse. The food was good. We had appetizers of crabcake, scallops(personal favorite, cooked perfectly), shrimp cocktail and crab mac and cheese. Steak, lobster Shepard's pie and sides all good. Short ribs not so good but our waiter was quick to correct this and removed it from our bill. Service was some of the best I've ever experienced. They were attentive without hovering. And the desserts were excellent. I highly recommend the baked Alaska.
