A nurse and scheduler telling me twice that my child was cleared from seeing a cardiologist even though I was advocating for my child to be seen again with my pediatrician in agreement. Then tells me after my second phone call for "my peace of mind" they would schedule. Is this up to them or the doctor? Dr McCoy is amazing! She explains things really well. Unfortunately, the people at the front desk of pediatric cardiology (not fetal cardiology) are always unreachable. I have to call them several times and most of the times, they simply hang up. Call backs never happen and I have to email other departments to eventually get a word out to the doctor to get their attention. If the doctor wasn’t so good, we would have changed locations. I wish the hospital would look at this and resolve this issue.
